Lin Wilder, MA, LPC, LMHC
Hello and Welcome!
Just a little bit about me - I became a counselor for many reasons - first and foremost the incredible impact that my own work with counselors has had on my life, and my wish to help others experience the same type of support, validation, accountability, healing, and perspective-taking that I have from counseling. I also believe that mental, emotional and social well-being is critical to overall health, and is a key foundation upon which to build satisfying and meaningful lives.
I started my career as a counselor in 1995 working in colleges, hospitals, public health agencies, and private practice. This was followed by many years focused on clinical supervision, program development, public and behavioral health leadership, and organizational and leadership coaching, training and facilitation. I returned to private counseling practice in 2022 in order to get back to a place of closer connection to others, share my experience and expertise to make a difference in people's lives, and help address the growing need for effective counseling.

You will find me to be warm, participatory, supportive, compassionate, direct, and prone to humor. (Sometimes I admittedly can be pretty goofy.) If that sounds like a fit for you, then I look forward to hearing from you.

I am licensed in Colorado and Washington State, and provide telehealth in Colorado and Washington and in-person options for those in the Bellingham, WA area.

I also provide life, leadership and career coaching services through Mighty Acorn, PLLC. Find out more here.
